Meet the Founder

Becca Ruiz

In 2018, founder Becca Ruiz, launched an Instagram account to track donation campaigns on social media. It started with a spark—discovering Walmart’s campaign with Feeding America, where every qualifying Instagram post meant a $10 donation to the nonprofit. She loved the concept, one that allowed everyday people to donate for free, but finding these campaigns was nearly impossible. That’s when the idea for Impactasnap public challenges was born.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Anyone with an Instagram account can join a public challenge, snap & share a picture or reel.
  2. Campaign hashtags unlock a real donation to a trusted nonprofit.

Now, every day people can give back with confidence, brands gain recognition and verified impact for their support, and nonprofits receive direct visibility and funding from their brand sponsors — all seamlessly through the Impactasnap platform.

As algorithms shift and trust declines, organizations need proof — not promises. Impactasnap exists to verify human participation and turn it into funding that’s transparent, defensible, and measurable.

Together, we can make Instagram a place for positivity, creativity, and purpose. <3
